Bendewadi waterfall and Khandi point, I was exploring some hidden waterfalls as well as mesmerising nature in Khandi. It was not a planned trip.

I got up late in the morning. The day was very pleasant and almost no rain. Suddenly, I planned to visit Khandi Point and capture some clicks of the Bendewadi waterfall.

I heard that Jagtap waterfall, Lalvadi waterfall, and Bendewadi waterfall are famous waterfalls in Khandi. Bendewadi waterfall is one of them, which is easily accessible from the small Bendewadi village.

Just checked on the map, Khandi point location & left the house. I have started my journey from Pimpri-Chinchwad. After crossing the Somatane toll Naka on the old Mumbai-Pune highway, I reached Kanhe Phata. Take a left turn towards the Takawe industrial area, which is on the way to Bendewadi waterfall. Takawe is a well-known industrial area.

Exploring more and more beauty, on some curvy and uphill-downhill roads, finally I reached Bendewadi village.

Bendewadi is a very small village. The village entrance Kaman is made of rusted iron. One banner on the road was for Bendewadi waterfall. I entered the village, Just a few meters ahead, one person indicated to me to park the vehicle. Two or three cars were already parked.

The person’s name was Mr. Popat Pingale. This was my first visit to Bendwadi. He told me the way to reach Bendewadi waterfall. He was running his own homemade food business.
Bendewadi village

This village has one beautiful temple of God, Shri Ram. Mr. Popat showed me that temple. I did Darshan of God Shri Ram then moved ahead to the waterfall.

Now I was eager to reach the waterfall quickly. In front of the temple, just 50 meters ahead, there is a right turn. Just another 100 meters there is a small mud path. In fact, Bendewadi village is very small. After crossing the village, just 200 to 300 meters ahead, the waterfall was visible.

When I reached here, a few people were already there and enjoying it. This is a very good waterfall. The water stream view is awesome.

I captured so many pictures. The waterfall view was super. The backside of the waterfall there is a big cave. I have changed my camera battery here. This cave helps us to warm up our bodies.
The Bendewadi waterfall experience was super. The whole journey from kanhe phata to bendewadi was memorable. It’s a must-visit place in Monsoon for nature and waterfall lovers.

Local villagers are providing home-made food. I met with Mr. Popat, who is running Potbhar Bhojan. I have taken tea and local food, the taste was very good.
